Tk’emlúps te Secwépemc

We join the rest of the country in the mourning of the 215 Tk’emlúps te Secwépemc children found in a mass grave at the former residential school in Kamloops. 

Our flag will remain at half-mast for 215 hours. 

O Canada!

CWO Jim Reid (ret), our former groundskeeper, stopped by to check out the club while he was out cycling. While there, he was asked to raise the flag at the club. Military folks know the necessary knots to raise flags properly! 

Glen Motz, Member of Parliament for Medicine Hat-Cardston-Warner, supplied the club with a new Canadian flag. 

Aerating

Dustin Zdan, superintendent of Connaught Golf and Country Club, brought the aerator over to the club Saturday morning. The green was in desperate need of an aeration as it was looking pretty sick with moss, algae, and dead(ish) spots. It should take about a week for the green to get back to normal.

We have been lucky to have Dustin advising us on our upper green. It is amazing how difficult it can be to maintain a bowling green and his suggestions have always benefited the green. He's brought crews over a few times to aerate, over seed, and dress the green. 

Dustin provides this service at no charge to the club, unless supplies are needed.

Membership

An annual membership to our club is only $35/year. This entitles you to use club owned equipment - bowls, mats, jacks, rakes.
