It's been 16 years since the last time the Larry Burniston Trophy was played for. The trophy was resurrected this weekend for the Labour Day Mixed Triples Tournament.
The team of Gerry Aitken, Jennifer Wills, and Don Gray took the two game total points championship. Helen Young's trio consisting of vice skip John Kennedy and lead Eric Moll took second place, while the Richard Burniston trio of vice skip Ron Gebhardt and lead Paul Giroux took third place.
Six teams were in the mix. The winning team took home $90, second took home $60, and third took home $30.
